| The New River is known for it's monster smallmouth population and our guide service undoubtedly averages admirable numbers of big, mature smallmouth bass (4lb+ range) every season on our guided fishing trips. However, to land a "true" 5-pound river smallmouth (no 1/8oz. given here!) is an accomplishment that not every angler gets to experience in his/her lifetime. We are extremely proud of our anglers who have reached that milestone and this page is dedicated to those who have joined NROC's "FIVE POUND CLUB."
